Capturing a moment in a photograph is one thing. It takes skill and knowledge and some technical know-how that not everyone possesses, but most anyone can learn. But capturing someone’s soul – the way they truly are on the inside – takes more than that. It takes love.

I love fresh rain in the morning. So soft. So quiet. So gentle. And new again. Without words, it gently rinses away the dust and makes new room for the sunshine to be felt in the roots of my dried up soul and cracked little heart, finding a place for love to flourish.
