Time to bloom

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”  – Anais Nin

Over the next few weeks, I am working on some major changes around here. Career. Personal. Even my home is getting a mini facelift with some rearranging and a fresh coat of paint. It’s all coming together at this time of dormancy in the world. The time where everyone sleeps and the buds of spring and growth of summer haven’t quite taken root. But I am ready now. Like the flowers that have to bloom even in the rain.

I have been following a path that didn’t seem to quite fit my life – like an ill fitting suit. The colors are all right and the style certainly felt like me, but the precise tailoring feels a little off. So I need to nip and tuck. Take in a few seams and happily let a few stitches go.

So it is time to open…time to fearlessly unfurl to the possibility around me and show everyone why I am here.

It is time to bloom.

photogirl - Thanks Sheila! You are too kind. The path won’t be that different. Just a LOT more focused! I am so excited. I can’t wait to tell everyone and showcase what I really want to do!
